Day 4 :- Amasya >>>>Erzincan (420 km)

After the breakfast at the Uluhan Hotel I packed all my stuff and put them on my motorcycle.

As agreed with Hatice and Stefan who are living at their farm in Ovasaray I took the route to the village. Around 10:30 I arrived there and changed my motorcycle suit. They took me with their  Jeep 

to the fields where they had their agricultural products (already harvested or still on the field).

We drove through some fields, beneath didges and through nice trees. I also took some pictures of the surrounding views.

Around 12:00 we came back home and I changed my clothing and made me ready to ride. I am on the route to Erzincan. I took the route via Resadiye, Susehri, Refahiye. The roads' quality is really good.

I stopped at Refahiye for lunch. It is a fuel station right at the road side and the food is as usual 'kofte on grill'. At 16:00 o'clock I arrived at the Hotel Eriza in Erzincan. It is a city hotel right in the downtown.

There is also a nice corner at the entrance where I parked my motorcycle. Because of the pandemic all around the hotel has no customers at all. Most probably I was the second or third guest.

The young guy who is the hotel manager is very fine and friendly. We talked a little bit and he informed me about the city and places in the city. After having a shower and a short rest in my room I went out to see the city.  Right in the front of the Hotel there is the famous copper market. It is a under ground market and there are lots of copper shops. I bought two pieces of cups made of copper. After putting them into the side case of motorcycle I continued to walk in the city.

The city was built on a wide and flat plateau between two mountain chains restricting the city on the north and south. Because the city is located right in the center of the earthquake zone there are rectangular or square shaped blocks. The building are 3 or max. 4 story constructions. I walked on the main streets and found one of the famous "doner restaurants". I sat there and ate a portion of doner kebap. It is very tasty though.  There is nothing special in the city to see. In my opinion, it  is a city to stop for lunch. 

I bought a beer and went to my hotel around 22.00.

MOTORCYCLE Tour in the Northern Turkey & BLACK SEA / MOTOSİKLETLE Kuzey Türkiye & KARADENİZ Gezisi Day.3 : 09.08.2020 Sinop >>>>>Amasya (250km)

The breakfast hall of the Hotel 117 is located on the first stage and looking over the Blacksea. The boats in the marina are looking nice and beautiful today. After having the breakfast I put my stuff on my motorcycle and drove away at 09:00. After 35-40 km heading south direction I took the direction to Boyabat, Vezirköprü. I wanted to try this alternative road instead riding via Samsun.

The roads are wonderful. The road conditions and the view is beautiful. At 10.00 I arrived at Boyabat. I took the unpaved road in order to get to the entrance of the old fortress. I started to climb the path to the fortress. It was hot but the view was beautiful. Someone could have nice view over the town Boyabat through the pine trees. It took around half an hour to be on top in the fortress. While walking in the ancient fortress I took also some pictures.

Almost one hour later I came down and continued to ride in the direction to Vezirkopru. Around 12:20 I arrived at the town Vezirkopru. Most of the shops are closed, because it is Sunday. The weather is hot, around 33 degC. I saw the newly refurbished Tashan (Stone Caravanserai). It look very artificial and the work is not good at all. The building is serving now as a Hotel.

On the side street I saw some people handling tobacco leaves. They are like a family from one of the neighbored villages and working for tobacco agriculture. The government is recently giving support for the agriculture of tobacco.

A few hundred meters away I saw another street with refurbished two story buildings. These were old houses of the style of Vezirkopru. After drinking tea I continued my ride in the direction to Havza. This one is a town on the main road between Samsun and Amasya. In the main square of Havza I saw a food shop doing lahmacun, and pide. I parked my motorcycle in the shade of a tree in the park and order my Turkish pizza (=Lahmacun). After this lunch break I continued to ride in the direction to Amasya.

My friend Hatice is originally from Amasya and nowadays she and her husband Stefan are living there for their agricultural business. They are located 15 km away from Amasya. It is the village Ovasaray. However, she had booked for me a Hotel right at the bank of the Yesilirmak (=literally Green River). I came in The Hotel called Uluhan around 14:30. Hatice 's original family house is now converted to a nice boutique Hotel and serving since a couple of years. Nice place to stay !!

After relaxing almost one hour I walked through the streets and along the river in Amasya. I visited some of the old mosques and their side buildings. Amasya was an important city in old Ottoman time. Most of the sheikhzades (=sons of the Ottoman Sultans) were assigned to live here for training for being Sultan. 

Around 18:00 I came back to my Hotel Uluhan and took my motorcycle and I rode to Ovasaray village where the farmhouse of Hatice is located. They invited me for a BBQ and we enjoyed our evening there. This is my third visit at the farmhouse since 7 years.

Around 22:00 I was back in my hotel and sat in the yard and drank tea. I sorted out my pictures.

MOTOSİKLETLE KARADENİZ Gezisi / By MOTORCYCLE to the BLACK SEA

Turumuzun sonuna doğru yaklaşıyoruz. Ünye ‘de gecelediğimiz mükemmel Atik Otel ‘de uyanıp nefis kahvaltımı yaptım. 08:30 ‘da “teker döner” duyurusu doğrultusunda hem kendimi hem de motorumu hazırladım. Hazırlıklar erken bitince otelin lobby ‘sinde sergilenmekte olan Biberli Fındık ezmesinden bir kavanoz satın aldım. Attım motorun çantasına. Evde açıp ailecek deneriz.

Bu arada Uğur Hocamız açıklama yaptı. İki grup olarak sürüş yapacağız. İlk grup sahil yolunu izleyerek Samsun ve Kastamonu yapacak. Benim de dahil olduğum diğer grup ise Niksar, Amasya, Osmancık, Tosya üzerinden Kastamonu ‘ya sürecek.

Yaklaşık 09:00 gibi yola koyulduk. Ünye Niksar arası Canik Dağları aşılacak. Yollar Ünye ‘den çıkar çıkmaz kıvrımlı ve tırmanışlı. Satıh kaplaması düzgün değil. Asfalt kaplama ama yama yama. Çoğu yerlerde de çökmeler ve bombeler oluşmuş. Yolun kenarları tutuculuğunu kaybetmiş durumda. Uğur Hoca gözlemli sürüş yapıyor. Akkuş ‘da mola vereceğimiz yere kadar Ali ihsan ve Aykut ‘un sürüşü izlendi. Mola yerinde sürüşün değerlendirmesi yapıldı.

Mola yeri açık bir piknik alanı. Kır kahvesi havasında. Buranın etleri (özelllikle pirzolası) çok lezzetliymiş. Uğur Hoca bir oturuşta iki kişi 3 kg yediklerini anlattı bir ara.

Çayları içiyoruz ve sürüş değerlendirmesini yapıyoruz. Uğur Ertekin ‘in liderliğinde Çetin, Aykut, Ali ihsan, Efe, Can, Mehmet ve artçısı olan eşi Mukadder hep birlikteyiz bugün. Moladan sonra tekrar yola koyuluyoruz. Bu defa sürüşü izlenecek olan Çetin ve arkasından ben. Akkuş ‘u geçtikten sonra yol kaplaması güzelleşti. Kaliteli bir asfalt kaplama başladı. Yolların virajları da daha geniş ve okunabilir durumda. genellikle iniş tarzında.

Güzel bir sürüş yaptım. Bir iki önemli hatam oldu. Bunları da Uğur Hocamız gayet güzel açıkladı ve telafisi için öneriler getirdi. 1- Daha küçük vitesle motoru tamamen gazla kontrol edebilecek şekilde sürmeliyim. Küçük vites, küçük vites, küçük vites. Hassas gaz ayarı önemli. 2- Vites değiştirmelerim daha smooth olmalı. Küçültürken yumuşak ve yükseltirken seri ve çabuk. 3- Sollamalarda Pozisyon>>Hız>>Vites ve İvmelenme ‘ye daha çok dikkate edeceğim.

Niksar ‘da benzin aldığımız Opet istasyonuna kadar Efe öndeydi. Onun sürüşü izlendi.

Opet ‘den benzin aldık. Biraz dinlendik ve durum değerlendirmesine katıldık. Sonra yola devam. Niksar ‘dan Erbaa ve Taşova üzerinden Amasya ‘ya kadar yollar düz ve heyecan veren bir tarafı pek yok. Çift geliş gidişli asfalt yollar.

Amasya ‘ya vardığımızda şehrin içinde, nehrin demiryolu tarafında bir lokantaya gittik, oturduk. Buranın adı Amaseia Mutfağı. Yerel yemekler var. Bahçesinde oturduk. Sarma dolma, etli bamya, yağlı gibi yerel tatlar var. Bir müddet yemek molası ve dinlenme. Bu arada arkadaşlarım hemen bitişiğinde olan müzeyi de gezdiler.Ben daha önceki gelişlerimde gezdiğim için bu defa girmedim ve dışarıda dolaştım.

Buradan çıkınca kahve içmeye yukarıda, Çakallar Mevkiinde yer alan bir restaurant/park alanına motorlarımızla çıktık. Ali Kaya adıyla bilinen yerde motorlarımızı park edip Amasya ‘yı seyrettik. Neredeyse kuşbakışı Amasya yukarıdan görülüyor.

Kahvelerimizi içtikten sonra tekrar yola koyulduk.  Amasya ‘ya indik ve Merzifon ‘a doğru yola devam ediyoruz. Yollar nedense biraz kalabalık. Bu arada bazı trafik ışıklarında arkamızdan gelenler bayağı geride kaldılar. Uğur Hoca ‘nın öncülüğünde Kerem, ben ve Efe gidiyoruz. Efe benim arkamda. Bizden kopmadı ve arkadakileri de bir süre peşine taktı. Fakat bir yerden sonra arkadaki grup (Çetin, Aykut, Ali İhsan, Mehmet) koptu. Biz de geniş ve kaliteli yolu bulunca bastırdık biraz.

Benzinim göstergem 20 km gibi gösterirken Osmancık ‘ın 28-30 km devamında solda bir Alpet ‘e girdik. Uğur Hoca ekibin geri kalanını beklemek üzere karayolu üzerindeki göbek noktasında beklemeye koyuldu. Bizler benzinimizi aldık ve çaylarımızı içmeye koyulduk. Ekibin geri kalanı uzunca bir aradan sonra geldi. Normalde yetişmeleri 1-2 dakika alacakken bu defa 20 dakika kadar bekledik. Meğer bizimkiler daha önce benzin almak üzere bir yerde durmuşlar. Ivır zıvır 15-20 dakika tutuyor elbette. Tabii Uğur Hoca endişelenmiş. Bize katıldıklarında biraz müzakere konusu oldu.

Buradan yaklaşık 19:00 gibi ayrıldıktan sonra Tosya ‘ya oradan da nefis yollardan Kastamonu ‘ya doğru motor sürdük. Tosya ‘dan sonra Kastamonu 80 km. Yol virajlı ve heyecan verici. Düşük vitesle motor sürdüm. Motoru kontrol etmek çok daha keyifli.

2. ve 3. vitesten başka vitese ihtiyaç yok adeta. Grup halinde sürüş olduğundan önümde Ali İhsan ‘ı takip ediyorum. Zira Uğur Hocamız son benzincide bir sıralama yaptı ona uyuyoruz. Alacakaranlık oldu. Kastamonu ‘ya karanlıkta girdik. Ama adrenalin ve heyecan üst düzeydeydi. Toplu sürüşün ve motoru düşük vitesle kontrol etmenin keyfini yaşadım.

 

Sinan Bey Konağı-Amasya

Geceleyeceğimiz Sinan Bey Konağı ‘na yerleştik. Önündeki sokakta motorlarımızı park ettik. Bizim önümüzden gelen diğer grup (Haluk, Işıl ve Can) yerleşmişlerdi. Serdar ise gruptan ayrılarak biraz daha İstanbul ‘a yakın bir yerde konaklamayı hedeflemiş.

Konağın bodrum katında olan odama yerleştim. Üstümü başımı soyunduktan sonra güzel bir duş aldım. Sonra yukarıda bulunan bahçe katına akşam yemeği için çıktım. Yemekte güzel bir et yemeği ve salata, soğuk bir bira beni mutlu etmeye yetti. Sonrasında sohbet eşliğinde rakıya dönüş. Ertesi günü herkes yoluna gidecek. Tur bitiyor. Her kez evine dönecek. Mersin ‘den gelen Sevgili dostlar Can, Ali İhsan, Aykut ve Çetin erken kalkıp yola koyulacaklar. İzmir tarafına gidecek olanlar da plan yapıyorlar. Anlaşılan herkes erkenci. Yemekte hepimiz kısa birer konuşma yapıyoruz. Sanırım hepimiz mutluyuz. Keyifli bir eğitim sürüşü oldu ve artık ayrılık zamanı.

Ertesi günü için benim acelem yok. Efe ve Uğur Hoca ‘yla birlikte öğleye doğru çıkarız diye konuşuyoruz. Ertesi sabah ben biraz Kastamonu ‘yu gezip göreceğim.

Vedalaştıktan sonra keyifle ve huzur içinde hepimiz odalarımıza çekildik. Uyku vakti.
